INTRODUCTION

Firstly we would like to say thank you for looking at our childcare portfolio which we have put together to enable you to understand our childcare setting and our expectations as well as policies/procedures we need to follow. It may look like a daunting amount of reading BUT it is designed to primarily safeguard your child whilst in our care.

 MISSION STATEMENT

 As registered childminders we aim to ... 

• Work in partnership with parents and acknowledge that parents are the experts on their own children.
• Treat children with care, empathy and respect and as individuals with different needs.
• Provide children with fun and stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development.
• Provide a nutritious and (where possible) organic diet for children and teaching children about healthy food choices.Also taking into account any child's special dietary requirements.
• Take a professional approach: ongoing training, respecting confidentiality, keeping organised records in accordance with current guidelines, having clear policies and procedures and communicating these to parents.
• Keep children safe
• Provide a reliable service that parents can depend on and have confidence in

WHO ARE WE?

My name is Hazel Hillman. I am 34 years old and I was a nanny for 15 years to various ages of children from newborn to 13 years old. I specialise in newborn and multiple care. I am now an Ofsted registered Childminder, fully CRB checked and insured.

I have also completed courses on:-

My name is Annemarie Baldock. I am 35 years old and I was a nanny for 13 years to various ages of children from newborn to 15 years old. I am now an Ofsted registered Childminder, fully CRB checked and also fully insured.
